Okay, so I'm a computer genius and fixed my Internet... it's amazingly easy when they give a big RESET button, huh? I'm uploading 5 pic.'s at a time ( for my computer, that's a HUGE improvement!)! Yesterday's pic.'s took FOREVER, because I could only do 1 at a time, or it wouldn't go through. Stupid! It's going SO much faster today, I'm almost done!

Anyway, on to other news. I'm going to take Emma's 3 month chair pictures later, because I didn't have time on Saturday ( and haven't really since). I'll try to get them posted before today's over. She hasn't changed to much, but it's still fun to compare pictures.

Tomorrow, I have to go see good ol' doc. Clark. I'm REALLY not wanting to go. What I want to do is cancel my appointment, but I know I can't. I'm scared, really. I know it will be fine, but it's sort of like going to the dentist, you never look forward to it and in my case know it is going to hurt! Let's just hope that this is enough to make it go away forever! I'm definitely not real eager to keep doing this.

By the way, I have been swatting fly's since Saturday night ( well, early morning Sunday), and they just won't die! It amazes me how fast they breed, that can be the only explanation. For every two I kill, there are 4 more, ugh!! nasty, nasty little insects!

4th of July party!!

oh... the 4th of July party.... It turned out pretty good, I thought. Of course, in years past, I was drunk, this year I just drank enough to keep a happy buzz going. It's not as much fun to get drunk by yourself ( darn Jami!!). So even though I wasn't floating in an alcoholic daze, it was still an okay party. It didn't seem that as many people showed up as last year, but there may have been, remember, last year I was feelin pretty good. We had LOTS of food ( and LOTS of food left over) and the fireworks were really good. It took about 10 guys to set them off, but if that's what it takes to make it work, then okay, we know they all had fun. Nothing better than drunk men and fireworks! I got quite a few pictures, but not as many as I would have liked. The bobbing for apples was a lot of fun, and I got some really cute pictures of that. Of course, I'm still trying to dig us out of the mess, but I guess it's worth it ( well, maybe...). Anyway, my computer is deciding to be a retard, and isn't letting me upload any more pictures ( I just don't understand), so I will try to post some more later. I have A LOT of pictures to put up! But here are a few of them for now. Hopefully, later tonight, I'll be able to put up more. Until next year, and then it is ON!! ( my drinking buddy will be back) Vern and Jason

Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July!! Is everyone out watching fireworks at your local parks? Or more like me, and just sitting at home, waiting for tomorrow night? We talked about going into Greencastle, but decided against it because of Emma. She likes her schedule, and her schedule is bedtime at 9:00. That means " put me in my bed and leave me alone or I will not stop screaming!" So for the sake of not interfering with my youngest' needs, we opted to just stay home. However, three of our neighbors have been putting on quite a show, so Gavin, Lakin and I sat outside for awhile and watched theirs. Of course, Lakin,too, likes to be in bed around a certain time, and this was interfering with her sleep. So we came in. They are still out there, shooting their giant sparklers, but Lakin is now asleep , and I sent Gavin to his room to lay down. Man, here in just a couple of weeks, I'm going to have to start re-enforcing the dreaded 8:00 bedtime to start preparing for school! My baby is going to be in first grade! I think I'm getting teary eyed, just thinking about it. In case your wondering, Vern went to town to get some more beans so he can soak them overnight, if he was here I'm sure he, too, would have been participating in the firework watching. But, they are still shooting them off, so I'm sure he'll see some of them. No more for me. After I post this, I'm going to re-clean my kitchen for the 50th time today and take my last cobbler out of the oven. Then I'm going to bed. I'm am SO tired! I'm sure it's going to be an early start for me tomorrow and a late night after a very busy day. Can't wait to see you all there!! It will be fun! Awwww.... isn't Mr. Marley Gumms cute??!!!!He kinda looks funny here..like some other type of dog that i can't think of....

Matching

Well, apparently, my father didn't care for my last blog post... he didn't think it was very funny. Sorry!! I guess not everyone can share my twisted sense of humor. If anyone was offended, I apologize. Next time I'll put x-rated in the title! Anyway, I was going through my pictures and remembered these of the girls that I wanted to post. I just love that I was able to find so many outfits of theirs that match ( well, not exactly, but same colors, print, etc..). I'm not sure why this excites me, but it does. Now I have TWO girls I can dress up and it's even better when I can coordinate their clothing!! Sweet, huh? Poor Gavin, he doesn't get matching clothes... Now what's going to be even more fun is when we can start putting Emma and Ava into all of their matching clothes! They already have at least 4 outfits that are the same. By next summer, I bet they will have bunches!! Fun!! Just imagine all of the pictures we'll have that they will look at one day and say "our mom's were such losers!". Isn't that exciting? Of course, we are buying their outfits to match intentionally, these pictures of my two girls were outfits that I just happened to have for both of them that were matchy-matchy. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to put both of them in their outfits and take a picture! Enjoy!
