Happy Thanksgiving!!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving....and took at least a few minutes to reflect on everything you have to be thankful for. I know that my list could just go on and on....and on. I am definitely one lucky girl to have all of these blessings in my life.
Of course, I was also a busy,busy girl since we had dinner here at our house. Whew!!! As much as I enjoyed doing it and being with family, I sure am glad it's over (although..I'm STILL cleaning from it!).
We did buy a turkey fryer this year, though, and I'm THANKFUL we did...I would have never been able to get all of that food in my oven...not to mention it may have been the BEST turkey I've ever had! It's a shame the oil for that thing is so expensive...I'd probably have turkey every night for the next 2 weeks ;)
The night went pretty well, I think, and I'm looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving for many more years...although, hopefully, by the time we have to do it again...I'll be in a new house..with double ovens..and a basement to banish all these kids to!! :)
Seeing as how I was pretty much in constant motion throughout the evening, I didn't get any pictures...zip. :( These were taken before everyone got here...and the awful ones of me and the girls were taken by my husband....he tried :) Of course that son of mine that occasionally makes an appearance, chose not to on this day...but what can you do...sigh. I'm THANKFUL I was able to get a picture of any of them...they really don't like my camera...I just do not understand it :)
