Indian Summer

I am REALLY  loving this warm weather we've been blessed with this week!! It's GO-geous darlin, just gorgeous!!

I've been trying to make the best of it....sunbathing,swimming,going to the beach.....okay...those are just things I've been wishing I could do, although laying out today was definitely a possibility. We have hives and hives of bees flying around our house...so it does make going outside and actually enjoying yourself a teeny bit difficult (especially when you have 2 children (my oldest) that won't even be out if they see flying bugs), but I'm trying!  p.s neighbors (people driving by)..if you see me running around waving my arms and screaming..do not be alarmed...this happens every time I walk out my door, usually multiple times a day. We plan on spending this afternoon after my munchkins get home, at the park, hopefully those buzzing pests prefer our house ;) These wonderful temps are still going to be here this wknd, so we plan on spending Saturday at the orchard and Sunday carving pumpkins and talking Vern into a scarecrow ( we really like those!).  Gavin is pretty bummed we're going to be gone on Halloween, so I'm trying to make it up to him by doing as many "fall" things as possible. 

Hope everyone else is enjoying their week as much as I am!! Hopefully I can help with these pictures...from July :) 4th of July actually...we spent it digging a hole for the pool.

Something's Missing

And I dont mean her smile...

It finally happened.....it finally fell out....we finally have a hole. This tooth was loose for SO long...when it  fell ( or was..ahem...pushed) out, there was actually part of her gum that had grown down...ummmm..weird...I know. This child refused to let us come anywhere near her mouth and screamed when I brushed.  Needless to say, it was getting a little ridiculous and she said it was hurting.  One night, while brushing, it started to bleed, so I convinced her I HAD to brush the blood away...and... I may have shoved that tooth right out.  She cried for a second until I showed her what happened and then she had THE BIGGEST...toothless grin! Yay!!! and yesterday....she showed me her other one is wiggling...it all begins again :) Hopefully I can get the next one out before this one starts to grow back in...maybe it will help get those teeth in straight!!! A mom can hope, right?! Unfortunately, her mouth is a clone of my own...and for those of you who remember me pre-braces...it wasn't pretty. But...who knows?! I really, really hope she gets luckier than I was. :)

The last...The Final...The End....The Conclusion...of June, 2011!

Just because it reminds me of summer...and I'm already starting to miss it. :(

I have been adding some more pictures to my "blog folder" this week, trying to get my photos organized ( I may be slightly OCD about it) and in doing so realized I had quite a few pictures from this summer....from JUNE to be exact. Thought I'd take the time to get them all up and tackle July on my next blog.  I'm pretty sure I said something about "keeping up to date" on my photos a couple of posts back...oops. I'm trying..I'm trying.  Hopefully I'll be all caught up before....2012. :)

Anyway...enjoy! OH! and don't forget to subscribe to the email on the left hand side of the blog..then you'll automatically get an email every time I make a new post. This will be easier, because I usually do a bunch at once so I can just send out 1 email to everyone...now I won't have to send out any! If you don't want to see my blog and hit DELETE with force every time you get the dreaded email...this will benefit you, too....and I'll NEVER.EVEN.KNOW!!!! but of course...NONE of you would do that!!

AND OH!!!..again!! Uncle Bill....I've been praying for that rain to come your way...even did a couple of rain dances. Hopefully it will pay off soon! In all seriousness..I'm so glad you all are all right and we send our prayers to you and Texas! Love ya!
